Everyman roll

Everyman rolls are a concept for MegaTraveller, inspired by d20. (Armchair lawyers, please note: no text or IP from any OGL content is included in this document.)
Outside of combat, in routine skill rolls that are related to technical, industrial, or mechanical labour, you are allowed to make an everyman roll. When making an everyman throw, assume that you have rolled a 6 instead of throwing 2d6 and reading the result. As long as you possess the required skill at Skill-0 or higher and have a base attribute of 5+, you will succeed at a Routine task that has no situational DMs.
This eliminates marginal failures for day-to-day activities where you are not aiming for exceptional success, only for basic completion.
